| Well, what took you so long buddies? |
We took a car ride of a few kilometres to the Okhla Bird Sanctuary yesterday to try and spot cattle egrets in breeding plumage and to see what other critters were around. Imagine our feelings, when after spending a couple of hours watching the said egrets (and other birds) in the barrage through binoculars, we park the car at the crowded Sector 18 NOIDA Market, and find this specimen right there on the railing! It looked like it was chuckling away to glory. (Photo by Anant)
